5 Team Teaser Payout
Today we are going to be analyzing the 10-point teaser. This simply means that you are being given 10 additional points for your teams, but they all have to win or else your wager is lost. For 10 point teasers the payouts normally go something like this: #2 out of 2 pays -210 # 3 out of 3 pays -110 # 4 out of 4 pays +136 # 5 out of 5 pays +195. 3 team teaser 9-5 4 team teaser 3-1 5 team teaser 5-1. 2 teamer is -110 with the juice. If there is a push it knocks down to pay out the rest. Can you explain the order of which of these has the best odds? BTW thanks for this thread, last week hit on Ravens and Pack. For Regular Teasers (5 pt, 5½ pt, 6 pt) a push(es) combined with a win(s), will reduce the bet to the next lowest number of teams. Example: if you have a 4-team teaser, where 3 games win and one game pushes, the bet will be reduced down to a 3-team teaser with the payout adjusted accordingly. Teaser Rules & Payouts. Attention: These rules supercede information on any printed materials. On a 2 team teaser: A tie and a win is a push. A tie and a loss is a loss. Ties on a 3 or more team Teasers revert to the payout on the next teaser. Example 4 Wins and a Tie on a 5 team Teaser reduce payout to that of a 4 team Teaser, etc.

Straight Bets
A straight bet can be made by choosing a team and the associated point spread. The cost of the bet typically is 10/11, or risk $110 to win $100.
Example:Los Angeles Lakers +7 Phoenix Suns -7
- If you place a straight bet on the Suns -7, the Suns must win by 8 or more points for your bet to cash.
- If you place a straight bet on the Lakers +7, the Lakers must win, or lose by 6 points or less, for your bet to cash.
- If the Suns win by 7 points, both bets result in a “push” or “no action.” MyBookie will return the risked funds.
Teaser Bets
A teaser is a combination of between 2 and 10 football or basketball wagers. You adjust the point spreads and/or totals in your favor in exchange for a lower payout. When your teaser includes a point spread, you can decrease the spread for the favorite (or increase the spread for the underdog). When the teaser includes a total, you can increase the “under” or decrease the “over.”
- MyBookie will grade the entire wager as a loss if any part of the teaser results in a loss. There are no partial payouts.
- A push in a regular teaser of 3 or more teams will reduce the number of plays in the teaser. For example, a 5-team teaser that results in two pushes will become a 3-team teaser, and the payout will get recalculated based on the new number of plays.
- A push or tie in any 2-team regular teaser will result in a push for the whole teaser, unless the other game gets graded as a loss. If any portion of a 2-team teaser is graded “no action,” the entire teaser will be graded “no action,” unless the other team is graded as a loss.
- MyBookie will grade as “no action” any event which does not take place on the date specified in the wager, and the teaser will reduce accordingly.
- In the event that any teaser selection pushes or ties, the following rules apply. For special teasers, any tie or push is considered a loss. For 2-team teasers, tie + win = push, and tie + loss = loss. For teasers of more than 2 teams, a tie reverts the teaser to the next lower level
Example:
2-Team, 5-point Teaser For $100
Bulls +4, Raptors -3
The 5-point teaser converts the lines to Bulls +9 and Raptors +2. The payout in a 2-team, 5-point basketball regular-season teaser is 14/10. In this case, you will lay $140 to win $100.
Pushes
In the event that any of the teaser selections result in a “push,” the following rules apply:
- For 2-team teasers, tie + win = push, and tie + loss = loss.
- For teasers of 3 or more teams, a tie reverts the teaser to the next lower level (ex.: 4-team teaser with 1 push reverts to a 3-team teaser).
Special Teasers
– NFL/NCAA Football Special Teasers are for 10 points (3 teams) and 13 points (4 teams).
– NBA/NCAA Basketball Special Teasers are for 7 points (3 teams) and 9 points (4 teams).
– For special teasers, any tie or push is considered a loss.
– For special teasers, any no action or cancelled game will cause the entire teaser to be graded No Action/Cancel.

Parlays
You can combine two or more teams or totals into one “parlay” wager. The more selections you combine, the greater the odds and the bigger the win amount.
- Proposition plays and future bets can’t be parlayed.
- MyBookie allows a maximum underdog odds of +500 for circled plays included in parlays.
- In case of a tie or no action, the parlay will revert to a lower-level payoff, except in a 2-team parlay (tie reverts to a straight bet).

Note: MyBookie calculated these payouts on a flat line, which is -110.
Moneylines
MyBookie gives you the option to wager on which team is going to win, disregarding the point spread, with moneyline bets.
Example:
Knicks -280 Celtics +240
- If you wager on Knicks -280, you lay $280 to win $100.
- If you wager on Celtics +240, you lay $100 to win $240.
- The line values are determined based on the point spread. When you bet moneylines, you bet on a team to win the game outright.

If Bets
An “if” bet is the combination of 2-4 straight bets, joined together by an “if condition” or “if clause.” There are 2 possible conditions: “if win or tie,” or “if win only.” Likewise, each subsequent leg of the “if” bet will be placed as long as the preceding bet wins.
The main advantage of an “if” bet is that you can place multiple wagers with a limited amount of funds. You can use a single risk amount to place up to 4 wagers, which can be concurrent or overlapping. You can buy up to 3 points on each selection.
Example:
New Orleans Saints -5 ($110 to win $100), IF (win, tie or cancel) San Francisco 49ers +4 ($110 to win $100)
- If Saints -5 loses, the wager stops there and MyBookie grades it as a loss for -$110.
- If Saints -5 wins (+$100), you continue to the 49ers wager.
- If the 49ers +4 wins, the wager is a $200 winner.
- If 49ers +4 loses, the wager is a $10 loss ($100 – $110).
Reverses
A reverse is an “if” bet going backward and forward. In other words, you enter 2 “if win only” bets. The max number of picks for a reverse is 4, and you can buy up to 3 points on each selection.
Round Robins
Round robins are bets where you pick 3 to 8 teams and match them in as many 2-, 3- or 4-team combinations as possible. When you place a round-robin wager, you aren’t allowed to keep open spots.
Example:
Bills -5, Patriots +2.5, Saints +7
Possible combinations are:
2TP | 2TP | 2TP |
Bills -5 | Bills -5 | Patriots +2.5 |
Patriots +2.5 | > Saints +7 | Saints +7 |
Note: Playing this round-robin for $100 involves putting $100 on each possible 2-team parlay combination for a total ticket of $300.
Futures
This is when you bet on a future outcome that is not dependent on a single game or performance. For instance, when you bet on the Super Bowl winner any time from the preseason to before the AFC and NFC Championship Game.
Exotic or Prop Bets
Also called a proposition bet, novelty bet or side bet, a prop bet is a wager that does not directly affect a game’s outcome. For example, the length of the national anthem at the Super Bowl.
